Cleaning the electrode pads

Cleaning the electrode pads

After a number of uses of the electrode pads, dead skin cells and dust tend to accumulate on the adhesive side the electrode pad, forming a barrier to reduce the contact between the electrode pads and your skin. We recommend cleaning the electrode pads periodically, or it could decrease in performance.

To clean the electrode pads, simply rinse the adhesive side under tap water and lightly brush the adhesive surface of the electrode pads with an old (but clean) toothbrush. After cleaning, always stick the adhesive sides of electrode pads to the Electrode Pad Placement Card included. It can prevent dust and ready for next use.

Cleaning can only extend the life of the electrode pads. You may need to replace the electrode pads eventually.
